Big announcement: we have painted The Last Wall.
We have been renovating this three-story house from top to bottom, which has meant, in part, painting every single wall. Make that scrubbing, patching and painting. And on Friday, more than three-and-a-half years since we began, we finished the last one.
There's still some trim to paint in various locations around the house, but we're done with the walls. We're so close to being finished the Longest Home Renovations on Record we can taste it.
The best part? We finished with just a bit of paint left in the can. And then we went out for lunch.

(¸.•´ (¸.•` ¤ CONGRATS on finishing!! Now what will you do to keep you busy? :-)))!!!
The thing about paint is that you aren't EVER finished! But good on you for wrestling the first round to the ground. All's well here in Maine/New Brunswick, with much wine and many laughs under our belts.
That must be the best feeling ever.

Kudos to you both !
We are behind on painting our home, and keep putting it off.
Luckily we have beadboard walls so not many fingerprints :)
Lets see the fruits of your labor !

Congratulations! We still have many more walls to paint around here, but heck, we've only been here two years so there's plenty of time, right?
Here's a big "le sigh" all the way from Quebec. Oh, how I envy you.
We're still chugging away, now into our second decade in this decaying, decrepit and derelict old house. But we'll get there eventually.
So glad your renovations are complete. Now you can sit back and relax a bit, and plan your next big coup.
